This letter is long overdue considering we first contracted with you in January of 2010. Having completed our kitchen and three bathrooms, I felt it necessary to express in writing, how completely thrilled we are with the results! From start to finish, each project went so smoothly, renovating has never been more fun. Mark, working with you on the kitchen was a delight. You expertly guided us through the design and selection process and pairing us with the contractors you recommended was spot on! They are fantastic! So easy too work with. We loved their laid back perfectionism. (Is that a word?) We still get compliments and inquiries as to whom designed our kitchen. Having used it for three years, we still would not change a thing. Once the kitchen was completed, our active little minds started churning away, knowingwe found the perfect designers and builders to construct a master bathroom that we always dreamed we would have. Now, when I enter the bathroom in the morning, i feel like I am in a luxurious hotel on vacation. A great way to start the day. We love your design! And, of course, working with you – again – on this project was like stepping into your favorite jeans. A perfect comfortable fit! We continue to love our kitchen/sunroom/pantry/laundry room remodel. It’s added so much pleasure to our lives. We delight in the comfort and beauty of the space, and we are really using all the wonderful appliances we installed!

I want to commend and thank Kitchen Encounters for their outstanding commitment to their customers. In 2008, they did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen. Unfortunately, a year ago, in 2014, the aluminum trim on some of the doors and drawers started to pull away. Kitchen Encounters immediately responded to our request to find a solution. After coming back three times to make additional repairs as more of the trim came loose, it was determined that the only long-term solution would be to replace all the front panels. From the beginning, Kitchen Encounters and the manufacturer took complete responsibility for the problem and its resolution. Kitchen Encounters spent untold man-hours coordinating with the manufacturer to make sure the color and grain of the dozens of new doors and drawers exactly matched our kitchen. Kitchen Encounters staff worked closely with us on scheduling to minimizing disruption to our household. We appreciated the professionalism of the carpenters and the expeditious execution of the job. We are reminded once again of how important it is to employ local companies who have the integrity to stand behind their work even when problems occur. We believe Kitchen Encounters is the kind of company you can really count on.

I contacted Kitchen Encounters for the paint color of my cabinets as I wanted to “spiff up” my house and paint the cabinets professionally.  My cabinets were installed 8 years ago and the paint was “bubbling up and chipping”.  I had no expectations from Kitchen Encounters except for them to tell me the color of the paint.  Instead of just giving me the paint color, they came out and inspected the cabinets and decided there was a factory manufacturing problem with the painting.  They worked hard with the factory to recognize that the paint was defective from the manufacturer.  Ultimately, I was able to replace most of my  defective cabinet fronts with entirely new fronts.  This was at no expense to me except for the labor to reinstall the fronts!  Kitchen Encounters was tenacious with the manufacturer to hold true to their warranty.  I  am appreciative to Kitchen Encounters beyond words.  They are reliable, trustworthy, tenacious, and loyal.

What can I say? You and your crew have enabled me to have the kitchen of my dreams. And you know, I had some pretty big dreams. I’m the type of person that wants to do everything herself. I had a vision. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted my kitchen to reflect me. Who I was, not what some designer thought I was. I also needed to be able to really cook in there…to become the gourmet chef and baker that I always dreamed of being. I also wanted my kitchen to be a place of welcome for all of our family and friends. To say, that you helped me achieve these goals is an understatement.

You all have done so much for us through the process of the kitchen remodel. Your eye for detail is amazing, and your follow-through, equally impressive. Your continual support, and readiness to correct things, we didn’t even notice, was astonishing. We both feel like the whole first floor of our home has been transformed! Tracy did a fantastic job on my kitchen remodel design. It was a tricky, small space in an old house, but she had creative solutions and excellent ideas. She also listened carefully to my requirements, so we had a wonderful collaboration. Mike did a great job interfacing with the cabinet company and making sure everything was in excellent shape. I was thinking this morning that this month marks about a year since my kitchen was remodeled by you and I’m still thrilled with the way it looks and functions. Every design element works perfectly and, given the small space you had to work with, that’s saying a lot. So I just wanted to send my continued thanks along. The green dramatic sandstone black splash is raved about by everyone who comes over and the rift-sawn oak on the cabinets is beautiful. While initially I really did not want any hardware on the cabinets, I now think the discrete hardware is a positive element. Thanks for all your work again!

If I had a nickel for every time I meant to write and thank you for all your wonderful help I would be a very rich gal! Now that things are starting to settle I want you to know how thrilled we are with the kitchen! It's beautiful and we get rave reviews every day! The island is really neat and very different!

From chaos to perfection, our kitchen renovation was a dream. Mark White and his team made the experience fun and rewarding. The final design was so dynamic that it was featured in Magazines and also shows up here in Houzz. They were able to bring my vision and artists contributions into the design for a truly unique and visually stimulating space that goes beyond function.

They designed and oversaw the installation of our kitchen. The design process was amazing! The owner, Mark White, listened to everything we wanted in a kitchen. After listening to our wish list he came up with a few designs then sat down with us to come up with the perfect combination of the ideas for our personalized kitchen design. We consulted with 2 other designers and they just barely listened to what we wanted. Getting them to hear us was really difficult. With Kitchen Encounters every step of the way they worked to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. When we needed to decrease some of the costs, they helped us. When he gave us his quote it was spot on to what he actually charged. In the whole process of putting on an addition to accommodate our new kitchen he was the only contractor who did that. When the kitchen cabinets arrived Kitchen Encounters did everything they could to make sure they were perfect. There was never an additional cost because we wanted to meet with them again here and there. I cannot imagine that any other kitchen design firm could do a better job.
