A designer who must possess not only their CKD and CBD certification, but must have an additional seven years of experience in the industry beyond the date of their first certification. In addition, a CMKBD has been nationally recognized through design competitions, industry awards, printed publications, television spots, and other industry opportunities. A CMKBD must also meet specific educational requirements.”
